I hope that my Art speaks for itself, to you and all who've experienced it. I realize that Art is in my DNA, my legacy, pure and simple. It's actualized by doing the work. Over my 50+ year career I've developed, innovated, inspired and brought some joy. I'm grateful.

My multifaceted ceramic technique, for which I was awarded a U.S. Design Patent, is rooted in simplicity. I notice that simplicity in the beauty of nature that surrounds me where I live in Northern CA, my inspiration, my home. My artworks are the means that bring these quiet truths into form, into the world, and to you.

I use porcelain clay and the clay beneath my feet to create functional, sculptural and mixed media art pieces, combining them with my paintings, prints and poetry into assemblages.

The Latin root of the word porcelain means “shell-like.” Sand dollars, discovered as float along the beaches where I live in Northern California, have been another source of inspiration. Their simplicity, geometric structure, classic symmetry, and quiet elegance echo throughout my art to wear jewelry - a reflection of my environment.

I hope to offer moments of presence, peace, beauty, and restoration.
